Künstler: Denis Cassiere

After extensive touring around Italy, in 2012 Denis Cassiere published Multipolar Vol.I digital version, then on CD in August 2013, sold-out in September and reprinted in February 2014 and January 2019. The new album Supernova was released in May 2014 on digital formats. On 2014 published together with Aghia Sophia, The Bagpipe of Vice and the band toured in Italy and recorded and released DD Cassiere & Aghia Sophia Live at Radio Wuonz - Rome May 2014.

On 2017th Cassiere recorded with Slow - Fi Records his 4th L´Urlo Di Uccello - sold out in the first month of its release.

In 2017 with his Everybody is an Immigrant Tour DD Cassiere hitchhiked for more than 4000km from Shiraz, Iran to Czech Republic and played in over 20 countries, which earned him the appellative of The Last Hobo or Blues Jezusa, embracing the mask of a modern Bardo or that of an North African Griot. Slow - Fi Records released the trailer of a short documentary called Out the Main Road, a journey’s interview to DD Cassiere.

In the same years Cassiere performed in Festivals of different genres from Blues to Folk, Instrumental, Alternative, Experimental, Avant Garde, while channelling genres and traditions, bridging beyond cultural and musical languages. This continuity of research on the road proved fruitful in the studio, where he produced his latest collaborations with Iranian singer Meysam Soltani and the track Shiraz, song in support of the movement Freedom for Iran. And by his revisitation of Balkanic Love song Do Te Shkrihem Te Venitem by historical Albanian Band, Fisniket.

In 2022 DD Cassiere launched his instrumental project Bile Bear, which consists of Primitive Guitar music played through a resonator guitar embracing a nostalgic and feverish Mediterranean spirit. Bile Bear received several praises all around the world and from the most respected members of the underground community of American Primitivists including Buck Curran, Jeffrey Davison of Radio WFMU New York & Radio CKUT Montreal and several independent European Radios who found Bile Bear guitar work to be refreshing and uplifting.

Bile Bear’s music features regularly on Radio Programs such as Balling The Jack by Joe Cushley, Resonance FM - London Slovenian Radiostudent.Sl and 95bFM New Zealand.

Bile Bear music has been recommended in Instrumental music selections, among the others, by DFBM (DE) Quiet Space (UK) Psychic Glands Auckland (NZ), Record Crates United (USA).

Cassiere is also author of poetry, short stories and curates theblog Naked Songs, sharing thoughts about his songwriting process and the whereabouts of creativity. Three of his poems have been published by Cerabona Editore within the 2005 edition of the Prize Carlo Levi, others for independent LiqMag and in 2021 his short story Hungry Ghost featured in Singapore experimental Zine Eye Foreign Eye.

Cassiere is also the artist behind most of the paintings created by the art collective active in the multi-purpose Sardas Man Studios. And the editor of most of the visual side of his music, including animation, Art Installation+Field Recordings, AI generated and 8mm restoration. His video clip Marù features in the selection of PON Inr among the selected multimedia works for sensibilization and salvaguard of water and sea life preservation. After the Bile Bear studio activity, In September 2022 DD Cassiere performs for the Tropea Blues Festival.

In 2023 and 2024 DD tours extensively in DE, AT, CH, CZ, SK and plays at the legendary Grolsch - International Blues Fest - Schoeppingen, Germany, 31st edition with Robert Cray, DK Harrell, Scott H Biram, Eddie 9v and many others.

In October 2024 Australian label Ramble Records releases a deluxe edition of a double CD with both Bile Bear albums and a generous booklet.

Currently DD Cassiere lives in Germany and tours both as a Bluesman/Storyteller, with his looping-songwriting show, and as a music composer, with his instrumental, resonator guitar project, Bile Bear.
